August 25-29, 2008: FREE Lab2Market Entrepreneurship Academy

We are pleased to announce that DFJ Frontier (http://www.dfjfrontier.com/) has agreed to lead the Lab2Market Entrepreneurship Intensive workshop again this summer. The inaugural workshop last summer met with rave reviews. The workshop is a five-day intensive experience that integrates lectures, exercises, and team projects. Applicants must commit to attending _all_ of the five days.

Through a hands-on approach, this workshop will address ways to:

• Navigate the path from research to market
• Manage the dynamics of entrepreneurship
• Evaluate technology/market opportunities
• Write and communicate business plans
• Build and manage interdisciplinary teams
• Find and tap funding opportunities

Priority will be given to Faculty, Graduate Students, and Postdocs at PSU, OHSU, OSU, and UO, but applications from researchers not affiliated with these institutions also will be considered.
